The New New Orleans

After days of unrelenting rain, Tabasco, Mexico is completely under water. Authorities in Mexico say that as many as 700,000 people have been affected by the severe flooding. Tabasco has a similar elevation level like New Orleans; it is a low-lying state.
"We are just like New Orleans," Tabasco governor Andres Granier said. "All the water that comes in has to be pumped out."
The governor is asking that anyone who owns a seafaring vessel to come help in the relief effort to rescue 300,000 believed to be trapped in/on their home.
